This little chapbook of poems was published in 2001 by my friend Andrew Milam’s press Seaweed Sideshow Circus. We still have a few copies left. Each book I sold had an individually hand-stamped woodcut of the moon over Cincinnati. The poems were largely taken from my graduate thesis in poetry with a few newer additions. This book started out as a meditation on St. Francis, and quickly evolved to a series of essays about “calling” and the spiritual life. This book is about desire and living a life that expects abundance in every area. Much love went into this book’s production, and its cover recently won a prestigious national design award from AIGA.
